About

You must remember that becoming a true Jedi requires persistence, patience, and most of all, hard work. It is your duty, both to yourself and to the Force, to overcome whatever difficulties the galaxy sets before you, for the Jedi Knights are the bastion of peace and light throughout the Republic. We cannot afford to let our numbers dwindle.

~ Jedi Master Ood Bnar

Star Wars has been a source of inspiration since it's release. Every child, and many adults, who watched Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker cross sabers on the Death Star have used sticks, cardboard tubes, and pool noodles to fight with friends. We've all dreamed of being able to use The Force to call the TV remote from across the room. Star Wars has become a modern myth, a story etched into the minds of the modern generation. The fact that the Jedi Philosophy is based on fiction shouldn't deter you. I'm not a role player, I don't dress up as a Jedi, I don't believe that Yoda was real or nor do I believe in the Force as it exists in Star Wars. Instead, I see these as metaphors that can guide a person to live a more fulfilling life. We should all aspire to have more peace, knowledge, serenity, and harmony in our lives. To that end we study meditation, communication, conflict resolution, leadership and a host of other skills to try to create better relationship with our self, with others, with nature and with the divine - whatever you believe that to be.

Here I will go on a journey to become a better Jedi and a better person. Join me, if you like.
